The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Social Media and Content Executive to join our dynamic commercial department. This role is for you if you are passionate about working in a team, and committed to creating and delivering high-quality social content.

 

Principal Accountabilities, Qualifications, and Experience

  • Work closely with the Head of Marketing to identify opportunities (e.g. SEO content, Blogs, News stories, on-site/off-site events, retail promotions, etc.) to create fresh and engaging initiatives that maximise customer retention, activation, and engagement across all social media channels.
  • Develop close relationships and work with external agencies to manage the implementation and optimisation of social media channels, and acquire new Le Shuttle followers.
  • Work closely with the marketing teams to ensure marketing campaigns are aligned, integrated and effectively distributed across the relevant social media channels.
  • Liaise with other internal departments on marketing opportunities that can be used across social media platforms.
  • Manage all social media channels to ensure content is updated on a daily/hourly basis and any customer responses are acknowledged and actioned.
  • Monitor social media feeds and alert relevant teams of any issues being highlighted by customers.
  • Work with Customer Relations to resolve any issues raised by customers contacting the brand via our social media channels.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of our social media activities and those of all relevant competitors and track sentiment.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to provide data from social media activities to support analysis of the behaviours of the customer against that of the customer segmentation.
  • Assist in championing the effectiveness of social media in the delivery of business performance.
  • Ensure all social media marketing campaigns adhere to all market regulations i.e. Advertising Standards, CAP codes, and Data Protection.
  • Any other duties and projects as directed by the Head of Marketing.
  • Fluent in English, and French desirable but not essential.
  • Degree or equivalent. Ideally a recognised marketing qualification i.e. CIM, IDM.
  • Three years of marketing experience working either agency or client side.
  • Experience in a social media role in a business-to-consumer marketing environment with some ability to translate insight and analysis into an effective social media strategy. 
  • Experience in running social media campaigns with appropriate writing skills to represent and respond on behalf of the company on Meta platforms and Twitter.
  • A proven track record of delivering projects on time and to budget.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Results-driven and commercially astute.
  • Excellent relationship management skills.
  • Comfortable working as part of a team as well as on own initiative.
  • Able to manage multiple work projects/tasks to ensure deadlines are met.
