Welcome to jobs.getlinkgroup.com. This online portal, (the “Portal”), is owned and operated by Getlink.

The Portal contains posts about job vacancies for Getlink S.E and its subsidiaries, namely Eurotunnel, CIFFCO, Europorte and Eleclink.

The terms and conditions set out below, (the “T&Cs”) govern your use of the Portal. Please read the T&Cs carefully before using the Portal.  Using the Portal means you accept these T&Cs. If you do not agree to these T&Cs you must not the Portal.

1.Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, the copyright, database rights, trademark rights and other intellectual property rights in the Portal and its content (including without limitation all design, text, graphics, audio, video or image files and program code) are owned by Getlink or our licensors. This includes the organisation and layout of this Portal together with any underlying software code.

You may print and download extracts from this Portal for your own personal use. You may not modify, alter, republish, redistribute, resend, sell or broadcast any material on this Portal to any other party or make such material available on-line or make the same available in hard copy or on any other media without our prior written permission.

If you breach any of these T&Cs your permission to use this Portal automatically terminates and you must immediately destroy any downloads or printed extracts from the Portal.

Access to the Portal does not confer any right regarding the Portal or its content. The simple right of access that you are granted is not in any way equivalent to an assignment of the intellectual property rights attaching thereto.

These prohibitions concern, in particular, the practice of scraping or using a robot for the purposes of extracting and reproducing any element of the Portal.

Getlink, furthermore, reserves the right to use all appropriate legal channels to stop all illicit use of the Portal, and in particular to take infringement action against any user who infringes its intellectual property rights.



We endeavour to keep the Portal available 24 hours a day, but may not be held responsible for any malfunction it might have, whatever the reason, time or duration. Access to the Portal may be temporarily interrupted without prior notice in the event of a failure, maintenance or repair of the system, or for reasons which are out of our control.


3.Conditions for using the site


3.1.1. Acceptance and amendment of the T&Cs

Use of the Portal is subject to compliance with these T&Cs. Before using the Portal, you acknowledge that you have read them and undertake to observe them.

Getlink reserves the right to amend these T&Cs without notice. Amendments are binding on you as soon as they are appear on the Portal. Please consult these T&C’s on a regular basis and comply with them whenever you use the Portal.


3.1.2. Creating a applicant account

This Portal gives users the opportunity to create an applicant account so that they can apply on-line for any vacancies that are of interest to them.

The creation of an applicant account is open to any person who is of legal age.

You confirm that the information you provide to create your account is correct.

By accessing to your applicant account and by using your user ID and password chosen when you register, you can:

  • Apply for the vacancies posted;
  • Manage your Applicant profile
  • Update your applications
  • Create alerts to receive notifications when new posts are published
  • Manage or withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data
  • Cancel the option to be notified when new posts are published
  • Change your password
  • Delete your applicant account

3.1.3. Job vacancies

Once you have created your candidate account, you will be able to apply for any vacancy we post.  

Our vacancies are presented with some or all of the following details:

  • A description of the company advertising the vacancy, the position to be filled and proposed salary conditions, etc.
  • Photographs and videos might be provided to give more details on the company advertising the vacancy or the Getlink group, the department concerned, duties required for the position, etc. Videos might also be posted from third-party sites, offering third parties the opportunity of providing users of their own site with certain videos thanks to certain functionalities such as ”Embed” / “Iframe”.
  • For vacancies in the UK, there is a free text area giving you the opportunity to explain your reasons for responding to the vacancies posted.
  • An area where you can attach your CV, covering letter and other relevant documents.


3.1.4. Authorised uses 

As a user of the Portal, you are able to create an applicant account, apply for vacancies directly on-line by attaching your application documents (for example your CV and covering letter) and to add additional information by posting content in the free text area.

By using the Portal you undertake to observe the following rules with regard to authorised and unauthorised use. 

Authorised uses

You agree to only use the Portal for legal and appropriate purposes and in particular to:

  • Use the functionalities and services offered by the Portal only for the purposes for which they are provided;
  • Keep your user names and passwords confidential;
  • Only provide information that is correct;
  • Regularly update your information;
  • Comply with the law and regulations in force.


Unauthorised uses

Anything that is against the law is unauthorised.

As a user, you must not:

  • Send or transmit to this Portal, or from this Portal, any element of a nature that might be threatening, defamatory, obscene, indecent, derogatory, pornographic, insulting or otherwise illicit or objectionable and, in general, any element that undermines human dignity;
  • Cause or allow anything that might infringe our intellectual property rights or those of third parties;
  • Cause or allow anything that might undermine a third party’s right to privacy; 
  • Cause or allow anything that might cause technical damage (such as data viruses, malware, corrupted data or other malicious software data or dangerous data); 
  • Change or modify all or any part of the Portal;
  • Send the content of our Portal to any third party or post it on any other medium, (in particular details of  our job vacancies), without our prior authorisation;
  • Put illegal or inappropriate content on line (for example political or religious opinions, anything which might undermine moral standards, etc.);
  • Promote violence;
  • Promote illegal activity;
  • Use the Portal in a way that would break any local, national or international law;
  • Use the Portal fraudulently or with fraudulent intent;
  • Use the Portal to knowingly send, receive, upload, use or re-use any material that does not comply with the standards and requirements of these T&C’s. 

With the exception of information that can be identified as personal, which is then covered by our personal data protection policy, all information sent to or provided on the Portal will be deemed not to be confidential and to be free of any royalties so that Getlink will be able to use it freely, including copying it, disclosing it, incorporating it and more generally using it for any commercial or non-commercial, internal or external purposes.


3.1.5. Illegal content

Getlink may at its sole discretion amend delete or remove any information posted by a user at any time.

Getlink may at its sole discretion block a user’s access to the Portal at any time without notice if the user posts any unauthorised content. Current employees of Getlink or a Getlink group company may be subject to disciplinary action if unauthorised content is posted.

Getlink keeps all data that have been reported for a period of one year from the date of report, except for in the case of legal and/or disciplinary proceedings requiring the data to be kept throughout the whole proceedings as detailed in our Data Protection Policy.


4.Limit of liability

Getlink endeavours to ensure that the information provided on this Portal is correct and up to date, but cannot guarantee the accuracy or completeness of the data given on the Portal. These data are provided ‘as is’, without any guarantee or other provisions of any kind, in particular with regard to the operation of the Portal or the accuracy of the job vacancies published on this Portal. Getlink may, at any time, and without prior notice, amend and delete the data on the Portal and in particular delete vacancies or change the content of vacancies described there. Any response on your part to a vacancy cannot constitute a promise of your being hired.



Under no circumstances will Getlink be liable for any type of damage, whether it is foreseeable or unforeseeable, direct or indirect (including loss of profit, loss of earnings, loss of data, loss of contract, etc.) arising from the use of or total or partial inability to use the Portal and its content. Getlink excludes any and all liability for any loss or damage resulting in particular from a virus that might infect your computer hardware, software or other computer data as a result of accessing the Portal or downloading its content.


6.Other relevant contractual conditions

These T&Cs only cover the use of the Portal by any user. The protection of your personal data is detailed in our data protection policy.



If any part of these terms and conditions are found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, the offending part shall be amended or extracted from the remaining terms all of which shall remain in full force as permitted by law.


8. Applicable law and competent jurisdiction

These T&Cs are governed and interpreted by French law. Any dispute regarding the content, interpretation and enforcement of these T&Cs is the exclusive jurisdiction of French courts.
