The Role


The Partnerships Manager is a prominent role internally and externally responsible for leading the development, implementation, and management of our partnerships, including partner engagement, development, and retention. In addition, the Partnerships Manager will add value to the overall brand experience, deliver revenue, and assist in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Loyalty. This is a highly commercial, target driven role, with the aim of acquiring and developing higher revenue generation long term strategic partnerships.

 

Principal Accountabilities, Qualifications and Experience

 

Identify and Develop International Strategic Partnerships:

  • Research and identify potential partners, aligned with the Company’s strategic objectives and expansion goals.
  • Develop and grow the range of joint activities undertaken with key stakeholders.

Negotiation and Contract Management:

  • Negotiate partnership agreements and contracts that ensure mutual benefits with clear goals and expectations.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders, including Legal, Finance and Operations, to review and finalise partnership agreements.

Collaboration with Internal Teams:

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure that systems and processes are in place to deliver against expected benefits.
  • Communicate partner requirements and expectations internally to ensure commitment and alignment.

Performance Tracking and Reporting:

  • Develop and implement relevant metrics to track the performance of partnership activities.
  • Provide regular reports on the success and impact of partnerships to key stakeholders.

Navigate Challenges and Drive Conflict Resolution:

  • Proactively address and resolve issues and conflicts that may arise during partnership execution, employing adept problem-solving strategies to ensure smooth collaboration.
  • Anticipate and mitigate potential challenges pre-emptively, safeguarding partnership success and continuity.

Market Analysis and Opportunity Assessment:

  • Remain abreast of dynamic industry trends, competitor activities, and international market opportunities.
  • Evaluate and recommend prospective international partnership opportunities driving sustained growth and market penetration.

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or a related field. MBA would be an advantage.
  • Ideally a recognised marketing qualification such as, CIM or IDM.
  • 5 years’ experience in a commercial environment, ideally in Partnership Management or Business Development.
  • Experience of identifying and negotiating relevant and added value and/or revenue generating partnerships.
  • Bi-lingual or a high level of English and French, both written and spoken would be a distinct advantage.
